The Titus 2 women's group has been studying Ephesians. In preparation for tonight's study, I've been pondering verses 21-22 from chapter 1: Far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also the one to come. And he put all things under his feet and gave him as head over all things to the church If there's any question about Christ's absolute power and rule over all things, Paul certainly lays that to rest, not only here but in other passages as well. Every name that is named is all inclusive. The present age and the one to come covers all time. All things means all things. So this leads me to wonder, where on earth do we get the idea that we "make" Jesus Lord of our lives?
