As if I didn't have enough to do, I will be participating in this year's National Novel Writing Month ( NaNoWriMo) . The goal is to write a 50,000 word novel in the month of November. I completed the word goal in 2005 and 2006. It was fun even though I wasn't the fastest typist. Now that I type for a living, that will be the easy part at only 1667 words per day. The hard part is the plot. I have 3 ideas for novels. The 1st is a fusion of Dr. Who, time travel through church history, Pelagius as a time lord and leader of the Sith, with cameos appearances from Calvinistic Cartoons and other assorted nonsense. The 2nd is a more serious murder/crime mystery in an academic setting. The time constraint doesn't lend itself to serious and thoughtful writing, and my 2006 novel was a Doctor Who/Jane Austen blend.
