Thanks for posting the Isaiah verses. My wife and I teach 6th grade boys and girls s.s., and we have been talking about love. What does the world say love is and what does GOD say love is. Palm Sunday we looked at 3 main verses about love
ReplyDeleteJohn 3:16 GOD so loved"; John 15:13 "no greater love"; and 1 john4:10 " GOD sent HIS SON as an atoning sacrifice". then we looked at the Isaiah verses that described what JESUS went through, and in Isaiah 50:6 we told them HIS beard was ripped out. Our lesson then went on to say when you are tempted take a strand of hair between your fingers and pull hard. Hurts doesn't it? so think about what you are doing and what it caused JESUS to go through to keep you from sinning. My wife then said pull out a nose hair to feel more discomfort. We then finished up with 1Corinthians 13
