The house goes on the market today. The realtor took pictures and room measurements this morning. She said, "We'll keep our fingers crossed and say our prayers for your house to sell." As a Calvinist, I would have said, "We will prayerfully await the unfolding of God's ordained will."
Inspired by Jonathan Edwards' resolutions, my resolve is to remember and rest in the absolute sovereignty of God. It actually may be exciting to see what God has in store for us.

Your posts are an encouragement to me. "We will prayerfully await the unfolding of God's ordained will." I think I will write that at the top of each month of my 2010 calendar! Thanks for the reminder.
