I'm thankful for:
~ Days in the 70's and nights in the 60's. Cooler weather also means yummy things like pumpkin pudding (for breakfast!) and sausage and kale soup.
~ Little things such as getting my wireless keyboard to finally sync this morning.
~ Changes in visitation that give my daughter longer uninterrupted time at home.
~ Oneness in Christ because of the gospel and healthy give-and-take on secondary issues.
~ The opportunity to hear Nancy Guthrie speak this week-end.
~ The good news of Jesus Christ and letting that shape how we live.

We have a high of 67 today---lovely! I'm making some cream of tomato soup for supper, using tomatoes from my garden. Your spinach and kale soup sounds delicious, as well as the pumpkin pudding. Mmm.
ReplyDeleteCooler weather is so very welcome in my book too!
ReplyDeleteWe are loving the cooler weather here in MN too.

Amen to that!
Sounds like we might have the same weekend plans
ReplyDeleteMaybe we can meet each other! I'll be with a group of 6 other ladies. I'm the middle-aged Asian with glasses. :)
DeleteI have missed being here, Persis dear! How wonderful that L. will have longer uninterrupted time at home, and how refreshing those cooler nights are. May God richly bless your time of listening to Nancy.
ReplyDeleteYou've had much more important things to do than being here. :)
DeleteYay! You're going too!!
